John is the Executive Vice President for Quick Solutions (QSI). John is responsible for delivery, operations and expansion for QSI. QSI is an industry leading Information Technology and Solutions provider.
Prior to his position at QSI, John was the founder and national CEO of GroundWork group. GroundWork group is a 501c3 organization that teams with the nonprofit and funding community to help them maximize every charitable dollar donated by leveraging technology in a strategic manner. He has established himself as a technology leader in the for profit, nonprofit and funding communities.
Prior to his position at GroundWork group, John spent 20 years with Accenture, the recognized leading global IT consulting organization. His positions with Accenture included:
• Managing Partner of the Columbus office
• Managing Partner of the Ohio Government industry
• Global Managing Partner of the Education practice
During his tenure with Accenture, he developed leadership experience in implementing business process and information technology solutions and assisted in transforming organizations into best in class service delivery focusing on improving customer satisfaction, becoming more cost effective and establishing a business technology vision.
In addition to his CEO duties, John also provides Quality Assurance Project Management IT consulting services to several organizations including The Ohio State University and the University of Southern California.
John graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major of MIS and Accounting.
John and his wife, Bobbi have three boys and live in Southern Delaware Ohio. They are very active in the community by being part of several volunteer organizations, boards of directors and community organizations. They have created the Hrusovsky/GroundWork group Internship Fund at Ohio State that creates technology internship opportunities for college students in the nonprofit field

Zahid Afzal is responsible for technology and operations functions for Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, parent company of Huntington National Bank. Before joining Huntington, Afzal was senior vice president and CIO for Bank of America Consumer Banking. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at Broadslate Networks, Citicorp and MCI Communications.
Afzal earned his degrees in Computer Science and Management from Strayer University and in Mathematics from Karachi University. He also completed executive leadership programs from Duke University and Ohio State University.
Afzal serves on the boards of the Bowling Green State University College of Business, Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC), Groundworks Advisory Group, CIO Executive Council Governing Body, and supports many other organizations in the community

Joe Gallo is Executive Vice President, Corporate Chief Information Officer and board member of The Dispatch Printing Company. Mr. Gallo is an Executive with a progressive career delivering high tech, business driven solutions to customers. Gallo came to the company from The New York Times organization, where he was executive director of information technology for the company's Shared Services Center. Previously, Gallo was a vice president and CTO for Cox Interactive Media Inc., a practice Director at Proxicom Inc. and manager at Mobil Oil. He started his career with Electronic Data Systems.
His undergraduate degree is in Information Systems from James Madison University in Virginia. He also holds an Executive MBA.
Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors of GroundWork group Columbus, the local Columbus affiliate of a national non-profit organization that provides information management, education, and technology solutions to non-profits across the United States. He also is Board Chair of the Buckeye Ranch Operations Board. The Buckeye Ranch has made it their mission to help troubled central Ohio youths find hope again.

Gregory Jackson was appointed State Chief Information Officer for the State of Ohio and served from 2000 through 2005. As Director of the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Mr. Jackson was responsible for statewide IT policy, planning, procurement, infrastructure services and support, electronic government strategies, digital divide -- broadband access to underserved areas, Government-to-Businesses (G2B) coordination and statewide IT security.
During his tenure as State Chief Information Officer, and with the collaboration of the Ohio Tax Commissioner, Mr. Jackson oversaw the implementation of the award winning Ohio Business Gateway (OBG), allowing small-to-medium size businesses to electronically submit sales, employee withholding, worker’s compensation, unemployment, and local municipal tax liabilities on-line. The OBG is used by 30% of all businesses in Ohio collecting billions in reported liabilities since its inception. Ohio businesses may now file and pay numerous state and local taxes through a single user-intuitive website.
Through collaboration with the State’s Chief Fiscal Officer, Mr. Jackson initiated a $158 million business transformation (ERP) project to replace the aging fiscal, procurement, and human resource systems that was projected to yield a savings of $250 million to the state over a five year period.
As State Chief Information Officer, Mr. Jackson’s service to the State propelled Ohio’s ranking from 30th to 3rd in the nation in 2006 according to the Center for Digital Government. Mr. Jackson was selected as one of Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2004 as well as a March 2003 recipient of Government Technology Magazine’s Top 25 and an August 2002 recipient of CIO Magazine’s CIO 100 Award.
Prior to accepting his last position in state government, Mr. Jackson served as a senior consultant with IBM’s Global Government Tax and Revenue Consulting Group.
Mr. Jackson majored in management information systems at Bowling Green State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1985. He received his master’s in business administration from Ashland University in 1996.
Mr. Jackson currently serves as Chair of the NASCIO Corporate Leadership Council as well as a member of the GroundWork group Columbus Board of Directors.

Before Mr. Sopp's executive tenure at CompuCom Systems, he served as President of Sarcom Inc., a computer outsourcing and integration company based in Columbus, OH. Mr. Sopp led a strong executive team at Sarcom to formulate a variety of IT solutions, provide enterprise wide support, and solve mission critical needs for Fortune 1000 clients. During his tenure at Sarcom, he demonstrated strong service and sales leadership skills that focused on building lasting client relationships and achieved some of the highest client satisfaction ratings in the IT industry. Prior to joining Sarcom, Mr. Sopp served for over 20 years in executive positions within services industries including: banking, finance, Adecco Inc. and Xerox Corp.
